A Woman's place, produced by the Research Team at the Sheffield General Cemetry Trust, tells the fascinating stories of Sheffield's Victorian women.

These women's lives show a "woman's place" was rarely in the home. Some feel prey to the perils of widowhood, disease and poverty, but there were also those who paved the way in the world of business, the arts and medicine, and those that fought for women's emancipation.
