Down the years we have managed the restoration of everything from sterling silver teasets to a humble paring knife. We can arrange the re-handling of table knives and hunting knives; replace worn out blades, restore carbon steel bladed items, replate silver plated items, knock out dents, make new components - the list is open-ended!

We use tried and tested time served crafts people who are specialists in their field.

We will then liaise with you and provide an estimate. On receipt of goods to be repaired/restored we always provide a detailed quote for your consideration before any work is authorised. Normally, no payment is requested until the work has been completed successfully. If on receipt of the quote you decide not to go ahead with the repair we request a £12.00 handling charge and the cost of safe return by post.

We are often asked about timescales. Every job is different, and the more complicated work may require input from several different specialists eg silver platers, silver finishers, silver spinners etc. Other jobs can be done in one workshop by one person. As a general guide we ask customers to allow 6 to 8 weeks from receipt of the goods to be repaired and having them ready to return. With more straight forward jobs, or those required for a specific deadline, we can often achieve a quicker result.
