Michael May is one of the new breed of "Little Mester" cutlers. Having learned his trade as a pocket knife cutler Michael now has his own workshop at Sheffield's historic Portland Works, the original home of stainless steel cutlery.

This model features a large SF100 Sheffield stainless steels lambfoot blade measuring 2.75 inches fitted into a comfortable bog oak handle. The polished bolsters are made from brass. Trevor Ablett used to make the same model and we are very pleased that Michael has chosen to take it forward. We are sure that Trevor would have approved of the quality of Michael's work.
